Back in October last year, SEBI had already brought in a number of new rules to manage rising volumes in the futures and options segment.

Over nine out of 10 individual traders in the equity futures and options segment continue to incur significant losses, revealed the study, adding that despite consecutive years of losses, more than 75 per cent of loss-making traders continued trading in F&O.
The nine stocks to be excluded are Arvind Limited, Birlasoft Limited, Engineers India Limited, Hindustan Zinc Limited, IDBI Bank Limited, Kajaria Ceramics Limited, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited, Oracle Financial Services Software Limited and Raymond Limited, NSE said.
