Hours after violent clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh, a US State Department spokesperson said on Tuesday (June 16) night that Washington was closely mointoring the situation between Indian and Chinese forces along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
