The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed an application seeking cancellation of bail granted to AgustaWestland accused Gautam Khaitan in another case allegedly involving black money and laundering.
Khaitan has contended in the plea that action was being taken against him under the Act for assets which ceased to exist before the law came into force.
Khaitan had been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the CBI a few years ago in connection with their probe but was granted bail in the case.
The ED had on January 26 arrested Khaitan, a lawyer, in a fresh case in connection with the alleged possession of black money and money laundering.
