The Q4 of FY25 is likely to be a weak quarter, impacted by usual seasonality and sustained weak Europe performance and now uncertain US results. 

For the full year of 2024, PC vendors shipped 253 million PCs, up 2.6 per cent from 2023, thanks to both the impending end of Windows 10 support and the first wave of AI PCs in the second half last year.

The report stated that at an industry level, the largest productivity gains are expected in the services sector due to its higher labour share to gross output while manufacturing and construction will see smaller impact. 

In addition to these functional skill suites, there was a rapid increase in specialised roles and skills related to Java (30 per cent), cybersecurity (20 per cent), and DevOps (25 per cent) between Q1 FY25 and Q2 FY25. 

One in six 5G users are willing to pay 20 per cent of their current monthly mobile spend for assured connectivity at event venues. 

By 2027, 100 per cent of all Indian respondents expect GenAI adoption across both internal and external use cases.

Further, 69 per cent of firms mentioned customer experience, where they plan to leverage GenAI capabilities. This includes applications such as automated chatbots, personalised support, and sentiment analysis. 

Apple led the market in smartphone revenues capturing a 43 per cent share and recording its highest-ever Q3 revenues, shipments, and ASPs.

Many of these solutions will be available on Azure Marketplace, allowing customers to utilise their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC), creating a mutually beneficial market proposition. 

The company currently has customers like Air India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Tata Motors and MakeMyTrip. 

The solutions will also utilise Microsoft Azure Document Intelligence, which uses advanced machine learning to extract text, key-value pairs, and structures from documents.
