Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut has said that his party will participate in the 2022 UP and Goa assembly elections. He also said that Shiv Sena will contest on 15 seats in Goa.

Attacking TMC in his weekly column 'Rokhtok' in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece 'Saamana', Sanjay Raut said the TMC has roped in "unreliable leaders" from other parties in Goa and this attitude does not suit West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s image.

"BJP will form the next government in the state with absolute majority...There is still time for elections. But I am appealing to the people of Goa to make up their mind to elect the BJP government in the state under the leadership of Narendra Modi at the Centre," Shah said.
