Allaying concerns of exporters related to GST, the commerce ministry on Friday said it is looking at all options to ensure timely refund of taxes under the new indirect tax regime to be rolled out next month.

Maharashtra Minister Deepak Kesarkar on Sunday informed the Legislative Council that the continuation of VAT on petroleum products and alcohol will be decided by the Goods and Service Tax Council in the next five years.
