While all the phones working on Android Operating System (OS) would wait for new Android 6.0.1 update, the Google Nexus devices will get over-the-air (OTA) update from Tuesday.
Internet giant Google's newly-launched Nexus smartphones will start selling in India between October 10-14, two days before the latest iPhones go on sale in the country.
According to the information available on Google Play Store, Nexus 5X will be priced at Rs 31,900 (for 16GB variant) and Rs 35,900 (32GB), while Nexus 6P will be available at Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 42,999 (64GB) in India.
Both handsets will be sold unlocked, with Google hoping to capitalise on a trend in the US and other markets away from smartphone subsidies as part of long-term contracts.
The smarpthone is built by Motorola and runs on Google's latest operating system, the Android 5.0 Lollipod.
Google has announced the new devices a day ahead of rival Apple, which is hosting a conference on October 16.
