The Supreme Court today said it would look into the plea for early setting up of a constitution bench to hear AAP government's appeals against the high court verdict holding LG as the administrative head of Delhi.

A bench comprising Justices AK Sikri and RK Agrawal said that important questions of law and the Constitution are involved in the matter.

A bench headed by Justice Dipak Misra said that it would hear the matter at 2 PM.

According to Gavaskar, R.M. Lodha recommendations are for the greater good of cricket and all national sports federations should implement them.  

In an interesting move, the Indian board has now told the apex court that it wants to suggest new names to run its administration.

The two-member panel had on January 20 proposed nine names, but the apex court said they were too many. 

A newly-set up bench comprising Justices Dipak Misra, A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud modified the order.
