 The chargesheet, spanning over 1,000 pages, firmly asserts that Chetan Singh Chaudhary was mentally stable and fully aware of his actions during the incident. 

Odisha minister Usha Devi's handbag containing Rs 25,000 in cash, a mobile phone and other valuables was stolen from Puri-Durg Intercity Express, a GRP official said today.

The Government Railway Police are carrying out searches in all trains arriving and departing from the New Delhi Railway station, after a bomb threat was received on Monday. 

In May, a labourer had to carry the body of his 15-year- old son on his shoulders after allegedly being turned away by doctors at a government-run hospital in Etawah.  

The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Sunday said that there is no reference to beef in the complaint of the victims and also questioning of the accused. Addressing a press conference over the arrest which took place yesterday GRP Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Kamal Dev said that the killing of 16-year-old Junaid was over fight for seat in the train and not over beef consumption.

The identity of the accused has not been revealed yet, however the GRP officials yesterday said that after completing the legal formalities they would disclose his details. 

The accident claimed 146 lives and left about two hundred injured.

All trains going from Agra to New Delhi are currently being searched by the Government Railway Police ( GRP) and Bomb Squad agency.

Three policemen have been suspended following the incident in which three persons allegedly tied a youth from the window grille of a train and thrashed him for drinking water from their bottle without permission between Jabalpur and Itarsi railway stations.

A 22-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh was arrested at the railway station here after a country-made pistol was recovered from him.
