President Pranab Mukherjee congratulated ISRO for successfully launching the India's communication satellite GSAT-18.
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched India's communication satellite GSAT-18 on board Ariane-5 rocket from Kourou in French Guiana.
The rocket is now expected to liftoff between 2 a.m. and 3.15 a.m. from Kourou (French Guiana) on Thursday October 6.
Arianespace said Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has selected it to launch GSAT-17 and GSAT-18 telecommunication satellites on Ariane 5 rockets from French Guiana in 2016 and 2017.
