The Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO) on Thursday has released the first image taken by INSAT-3DR, an advanced weather satellite.
President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of the tenth flight of Indias Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle GSLV-F05, carrying an advanced weather satellite "INSAT-3DR".
The Indian Space Research Organisation's GSLV rocket has successfully placed its advanced weather satellite INSAT-3DR into the orbit on Thursday.
INSAT-3DR is an Indian weather satellite built by the ISRO and operated by the Indian National Satellite System.
