The BJP has fielded its sitting MLA Sangitaben Patil from the Limbayat seat while the Congress fielded Gopalbhai Devidas Patil and the Aam Aadmi Party put its bet on Pankaj Tayde.

The Radhanpur assembly constituency falls in Patan district and it went to polls on December 5.
BJP has fielded Lavingji Muljiji Solanki, the Congress has fielded Raghubhai Merajbhai Desai, and the AAP has made Lalabhai Thakor its candidate from the seat.
The Radhanpur Vidhansabha or Assembly seat is considered to be a Congress dominated seat.

For Gujarat elections, the voting was held in two phases - on December 1 and December 5 for 182 seats spread across 33 districts of the state.
In the first phase polling was held in 89 seats across 19 districts while in the second phase, voting was held in 93 seats in 14 districts.
Voting in Unjha assembly seat (Unjha) of Mehsana district took place in the second phase i.e. on 5 December.
