Gulbadin Naib believes Afghanistan are more than capable of upsetting the defending champions Australia in their opening game of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in Bristol.

Despite peaking at the right time, the Australians will be aware that Afghanistan have the ability to rise to the challenge on the world stage.

Afghanistan, who are considered as minnows, will make their second appearance at the quadrennial event after featuring for the first time during the 2015 edition of the World Cup.
