The Delhi government on Friday approved to include Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in its free pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens. The Delhi cabinet, presided over by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, gave in-principle approval to this effect, just ahead of the inauguration of Kartarpur coridor.

Pakistan has formally intimated India that advance sharing of data for those visiting Gurudwara Darbar Sahib to participate in inaugural of Kartarpur will not be required, according to diplomatic sources in Pakistan. All the visitors will avail passport exemption and they will not be required to carry any legal identification, including PAN Card, Aadhaar or other admissible document. 

The government of India has issued a reminder to Pakistan over its proposal to hold technical level talks on the Kartarpur Corridor after no response from Islamabad, said sources on Saturday.
