A viral video revealed the devastating impact of Gurugram's monsoon rains, with upscale homes submerged and property destroyed. The incident has sparked outrage, highlighting critical flaws in the city's drainage.  

Overnight heavy rainfall has caused severe waterlogging and up to five hours of traffic gridlock in Gurugram. Schools shifted online, offices went remote, and an IMD Red Alert remained in effect.    

Gurugram Rain: After the rains, the roads of Gurugram became 'ponds', while the vehicles crawling on the service road of Sohna Elevated Road looked as if they were floating after being filled with water. Sadar police area was also flooded, after which people had to face a lot of problems.
