In Indore, a case of gang-rape with a pregnant woman has come to the fore on the pretext of a job. Where on the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case against the four accused Prince, Afzal, Arbaaz, Shahid alias Sayyed.

A 19-year-old woman was gang-raped after being drugged in Haryana's Mahendergarh district earlier this month.

Two prime accused in the Rewari gangrape case, who had been absconding since the incident came to light, were on Sunday arrested by the police.

Clarifying that the prime accused has been taken into custody, SP Naazneen Bhasin said the scene of the crime has been sealed.

The accused, who were stated to be in the age group of 20-25 years, belong to the same village as the survivor.

The woman's family members, while demanding early arrest of the accused, told reporters in Rewari on Sunday that the woman was in 'acute trauma'.

A bounty of Rs one lakh was also announced on the accused and for helping the police in cracking the case.

A 19-year-old woman was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped at Kanina in Haryana's Mahendergarh district on Wednesday.

The victim was on her way to coaching classes when she was allegedly kidnapped by the accused group, who then took her to a secluded spot in a car.

On Friday, the police said that raids were also being conducted in Rewari and Mahendergarh districts and neighbouring areas to nab the three accused.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi has said that “we must hang our heads in shame” over alleged gangrape of a woman by 40 men in Panhckula in Haryana. The Congress chief said that incident and “shocked and disgusted” him.
