The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Lt. Colonel and a middleman in connection with a transfer racket at the Army headquarters in which officers allegedly paid lakhs of rupees to manipulate their postings.

 Visakhapatnam police in Andhra Pradesh on Saturday claimed to have unearthed a major hawala racket operating from Kolkata that illegally funnelled out money to the tune of Rs 569 crore overseas.
