The Karnataka Police registered a case against HD Revanna and his alleged associate Satish Babanna, a resident of Krishnarajanagara taluk in Mysore district.

The Special Investigation Team has issued notices to JD(S) MLA H D Revanna and his son, Prajwal in connection with an alleged sexual harassment case.

Income Tax officials along with CRPF personnel are carrying out raids at various properties of Karnataka Minor Irrigation Minister C S Puttaraju and his nephew. Raids are also being carried out at residences of close aides of HD Revanna, the Janata Dal (Secular) leader and son of former Indian Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda.

Kumaraswamy said that if Revanna had asked someone to distribute, the issue wouldn't have arisen at all.

Revanna who is the Public Works Minister in Karnataka is also Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's brother.
