Himachal Pradesh continued to reel under severe monsoon impact with 116 deaths reported and over 230 roads still blocked.

More than 40 individuals remain missing after cloudbursts struck Kullu's Nirmand, Sainj, and Malana, as well as Mandi's Padhar and Shimla's Rampur subdivision on the night of July 31, causing widespread destruction.

The Union Home Minister assured the Chief Minister of providing central assistance and the support of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
