Himachal Pradesh reports 173 fatalities this monsoon, including 95 rain-related deaths from landslides, flash floods, and cloudbursts, alongside 78 road accident victims.

At least 61 people died this week so far due to landslides and flashfloods in Himachal Pradesh, home to scenic mountains and a popular tourist destination that has been battered by heavy rain since last week.

IAF's rescue operations in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra captured on camera. Over 220 citizens were successfully rescued today, concluding the Western Air Command's helicopter efforts. In the past 72 hours, more than 1000 citizens were saved from flood-hit regions. The Indian Air Force is prepared for additional operations as needed.

Even in the country's capital Delhi, waterlogging has made life difficult for the people. The rising water level of the Yamuna river in Delhi has increased the restlessness of the people as well as the government.

Himachal Pradesh has witnessed heavy damages due to heavy monsoon rains. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has called an important meeting.
