Starbucks corps named Laxman Narasimhan as next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Laxman Narasimhan will draw $1.3 million as his annual base salary. Narasimhan has joined the growing long list of Indian origin CEOs who are helming the global giants.

Starbucks named Laxman Narasimhan as next CEO, joining Howard Schultz, the interim CEO, from October 1, 2022. Narasimhan, 55 was previously the CEO of UK-based Reckitt Benckiser, a multinational consumer health, hygiene and nutrition company. Narasimhan joins a growing list of Indian-origin CEOs at the helm of US-based global giants, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, etc.
