Mallika Sagar took the helm at the Women's Premier League's first-ever auctions earlier this year. Sagar, of Pundole’s, made history at Christie’s before the WPL 2022 event.

Hugh Edmeades has confirmed that he is going to conduct the the IPL mini auction in December in Kochi, reaching the city in Kerala on December 21 via Dubai.  

IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Before Charu Sharma announced the final leg, he welcomed Hugh Edmeades who missed almost entire event after collapsing on Saturday (February 12).

Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, who stepped in to represent their Bollywood superstar father and KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, looked extremely shocked as they saw Edmeades faint during the IPL 2022 auction.

In an unfortunate incident, Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 auctioneer Hugh Edmeades collapsed on stage and the proceedings came to a halt for a while.

The reason behind Edmeades is not known as of now, and immediately after, there were calls for the medics to check up on Hugh. The auctioneer collapsed when the bidding for Sri Lanka spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was going on.

Around 1003 players had initially registered to be a part of the auction which was later trimmed down to 351 following discussions with the eight franchises.
