Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), country's second largest car manufacturer had launched the second generation model the i20 Elite on August 11 this year.
The petrol version of Elite i20 is priced in the range of around Rs.4.98 lakh and Rs.6.58 lakh.
The second generation model -- i20 Elite -- would compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki's Swift and Volkswagen Polo, priced between Rs 4.42 lakh and Rs 7.99 lakh.
Vouched to be a bigger and classier hatchback by Hyundai, Elite i20 is the most anticipated launch in this segment.
A total of five variants will be on offer: Era, Magna, Sportz, Sportz (O) and Asta.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) also plans to introduce a new model each year in the segment where it is not present.
