After tension with China, the Indian Army is fully deployed on the border. Meanwhile, France has handed over the 36th fighter aircraft of Rafale consignment to India. Rafale is such a deadly aircraft that it can reach the LAC within minutes from its base.
The IAF is participating in Garuda 2022 with Su-30 MKI, Rafale, LCA Tejas and Jaguar fighter aircraft, as well as the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) and Mi-17 helicopters.
The Rafale fighter jets are capable of carrying a range of potent weapons, including MBDA's Meteor beyond visual range air-to-air missile, Scalp cruise missile and MICA weapons system.
Taking part in the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' initiative, the Indian Air Force rolled out its fighter aircraft, including the newly-procured Rafale jets, out onto the tarmac.
