Indian batter Shreyas Iyer has clinched the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2025. 

Over three Test matches in December 2024, Jasprit Bumrah picked an impressive 22 wickets at an astonishing average of 14.22, single-handedly spearheading India’s bowling attack. 

Noman Ali won the ICC Men's Player of the Month award for October after his outstanding performances in Pakistan's Test series victory against England.

Sri Lanka's Kamindu Mendis was named ICC Men's Player of the Month for September 2024 after scoring 451 runs in four Tests at an average of 90.20.

Jasprit Bumrah and Smriti Mandhana were named ICC Players of the Month for June. Bumrah excelled in India's T20 World Cup win, taking 15 wickets, while Mandhana shone in the ODI series against South Africa, scoring two centuries.

Australia cricketer Travis Head wins ICC player of the month award for November.

The 24-year-old is ranked No. 2 in the ICC Men's ODI Batting Rankings and has a remarkable record in ODIs, scoring 1917 runs in 35 games at an average of 66.1 and a strike rate of 102.84.

Ravindra Jadeja is on the shortlist for the first time after inspiring a dominant start to the series for India in their World Test Championship battle against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar series. 

The ICC Player of the Month nominees produced outstanding performances across international cricket in November 2022.

The nominees for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award pay tribute to some of the memorable performances registered across all three formats in August.

An independent ICC Voting Academy and fans around the world can now vote to decide the winners, which will be announced next week. Fans registered on icc-cricket.com/awards are invited to cast their votes until Saturday.

Mathews becomes the first Sri Lankan player to be named the Player of the Month since its inception in January 2021, scooping the award ahead of fellow nominees Asitha Fernando (Sri Lanka), and Mushfiqur Rahim (Bangladesh).

Babar Azam received the award ahead of West Indies' Kraigg Brathwaite and Australia Test skipper Pat Cummins, and in doing so, became the first player to win the ICC Men's 'Player of the Month' award on two occasions, after being crowned back in April 2021.

Ajaz Patel made history in December, when he picked up 10 wickets in an innings against India at Wankhede, becoming only the third player in Tests to achieve that feat after Jim Laker and Anil Kumble.

Root was voted the ICC Men's Player of the Month for August for his consistent performances in the first three Tests against India which were part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) series.

ICC on Tuesday announced the nominees for the Player of the Month Awards for the month of February. Alongside R Ashwin, England skipper Joe Root and West Indies all-rounder Kyle Mayers have also been nominated for the award. In the women's category, Tammy Beaumont, Nat Sciver and Brooke Halliday have been nominated.

According to a release issued by the game’s governing body, the three nominees for each of the categories were short-listed based on on-field performances and overall achievements during the period of that month (the first to the last day of each calendar month). The short-list was then voted on by the independent ICC Voting Academy and fans around the world.  The ICC Voting Academy comprises prominent members of the cricket fraternity including senior journalists, former players, and broadcasters and some members of the ICC Hall of Fame.
