Twenty-three Maoists, including top leaders with a total bounty of Rs 1.18 crore, surrendered in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district. The group includes Podiam Bhima, accused of major attacks. This marks a major blow to the Maoist network, driven by disillusionment and supported by the state’s 2025 rehabilitation policy.
