India has not yet started a programme to formally train people in tackling electronic waste which has been increasing three times faster than any other solid waste, an expert said here on Monday.
A 63-year-old man arrived here to participate in the first India International Science Fair (IISF) on Monday, using a self-developed solar electric-powered car to cover 3,000 km from Bangalore to Delhi.
An attempt was made to set a new world record for the largest practical science lesson by 2,000 schoolchildren from Delhi and the NCR region here on Monday.
