PM Modi's visit to Portugal, France has been cancelled, sources confirmed to Zee News on Tuesday. The visit has been cancelled due to a recent spurt in COVID-19 cases.

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday (March 5) announced that the India-EU (European Union) summit, supposed to be held this month in Brussels, has been rescheduled keeping in mind the situation arising due to the spread of deadly virus.

During the 13th India-EU Summit, held after a gap of four years and attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and EU leaders, both the sides, however, welcomed the re-engagement of discussions for furthering the proposed pact.

The nuclear summit would begin with the leaders-only dinner at the White House later today.
