The persisting monsoon rains continue to cause havoc in various regions of India, causing floods, waterlogging, and affecting daily routines. Whilst some areas struggle with heavy inundation, others are witnessing lighter rain and cloudy conditions.
Experts are closely monitoring monsoon patterns, especially as several districts across various states remain on high alert. Meanwhile, a flood-like situation persisted in Rajouri after Dharhali and Saktoh rivers experienced rising water levels following incessant rainfall in the area, and hence, the closure of all government and private schools in the district for July 22.
Kerala is expected to receive extremely heavy rainfall over the next five days, particularly in isolated areas, till July 21. Meanwhile, in Delhi, a cloudy sky with rain is predicted, with the maximum temperature expected to settle around 35 degrees Celsius.
