Dhawan last played an internationak game for India in December 2022 which was an ODI vs Bangladesh. His last T20 match was in July 2021 while he lost selectors faith in Tests back in 2018 itself.

Ishan Kishan is likely to be part of India squad for West Indies Tests in July. That is the reason why he has opted out of Duleep Trophy as it will take place in early part of next month. 

Kohli will lead Team India in the forthcoming tour of West Indies, where they are scheduled to play four Tests.
