The US Embassy in India issued a fresh advisory for visa holders and clarified that the screening process does not stop after issuance, and added that the country continuously checks on visa holders to ensure they follow the laws and immigration rules. The advisory comes at a time during the US’s crackdown to ensure compliance with its immigration rules.

The deceased Indian family members who died in a car crash in the US were identified as Venkat Bejugam, his wife Tejaswini Cholleti, and their two children, Siddarth and Mrida Bejugam. They had been visiting relatives in Atlanta and were returning to Dallas when the tragic accident occurred.
