Infosys Ltd, India's second- largest IT services firm, on Friday reported better-than-expected 16 percent rise in the fourth-quarter net profit and forecast strong revenue growth for the current fiscal on new client additions.
Infosys is confident of revenues growing 11.5-13.5 percent this fiscal despite softness in segments like insurance, energy and telecom.
Consolidated net profit in July-September rose to Rs 3,398 crore compared with Rs 3,096 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.
He will be replaced by M D Ranganath, who has been with the company for nearly 15 years.
Country's second largest software services firm Infosys on Tuesday said it has brought its attrition rate under control and expects to see a further 200 basis points improvement in the coming quarters.
