The Delhi High Court on Wednesday sought the government's response on Vodafone's plea against telecom regulator TRAI's recommendation to impose a Rs 1,050 crore penalty on it for not providing interconnectivity to Reliance Jio.
Vodafone on Friday moved Delhi High Court against Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) recommendation to impose penalty of Rs 50 crore per licence area on it for not giving interconnectivity to Reliance Jio.

Continuing their war of words, Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio today accused Bharti Airtel of providing less than one-fourth of the necessary interconnect points to complete calls between the two networks, a charge vehemently denied by the Sunil Mittal-led firm.
Bharti Airtel - which has been engaged in an interconnectivity tiff with Reliance Jio – on Saturday said it has received payment from the new entrant for additional points of interconnect, and sought Jio's cooperation for timely testing and commissioning of the network ports.
