Asha Parekh, Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Prosenjit Chatterjee were honoured at the closing ceremony of the 53rd International Film Festival of India in Goa on Monday. 

IFFI 2022 concluded with the International Premiere of veteran Polish filmmaker Krzysztof Zanussi`s enigmatic film, Perfect Number. The film is about a young Mathematician who meets his long-lost cousin who is wealthy and this meeting changes their lives in various ways. 

The 9-day-long 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) is about to come to an end on November 28 in Goa, with the closing ceremony set to be held at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium near Panaji on Monday evening. The ceremony will be attended by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L Murugan and Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant.

I&B Minister Anurag Thakur launched the second edition of 75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa today.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur on Sunday said that the government intends to make India as a destination for film shooting and production. While welcoming all the delegates and filmmakers, Thakur said that India has got an opportunity to bring global films here and give new hope to regional films.

International Film Festival of India will be held in Goa this year. IFFI is being held in a hybrid mode because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event will be attended by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar.
