Alphabet, the parent company of search giant Google, announced that the organisation will tie-up with three major Indonesian telecom operators to expand the web connectivity in the country's remote areas using hundreds of net-beaming balloons.

Google's 2-year-old program "Project Loon" aims to change that by transmitting high-speed Internet signals from clusters of balloons floating about 60,000 feet above the Earth.
