Apple has released new iOS adoption statistics that indicate iOS 13, the current update, is now installed on 92 percent of all iPhones introduced in the last four years.

The iOS 13 update is available for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE and the iPod touch.

Notably, this is the same date predicted for Apple's event based on analysis of when Apple held the event in previous years.

With new bug fixes, the company has released the fifth beta version of iOS 13 to developers. The company also added and refined iPadOS features.

The users will be able to access content drawn from Indian languages in a seamless conversational style. Siri will also allow users to play their favourite Bollywood music just as easily as an English rap or rock number.

The powerful iOS 13 unlocks the Apple device with Face ID 30 per cent faster, reduces app download sizes by up to 50 per cent, makes app updates over 60 per cent smaller and results in apps launching up to twice as fast.

iOS 13, expected to be part of iPhone 11 this year, would have a new home screen, a system-wide "dark mode" setting, expanded multi-tasking capabilities and an "undo" options.
