This launch date is consistent with Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's prior prediction that the smartphone would be released in the first half of 2022. While some reports indicate that the iPhone SE 3 will have the same design as its predecessor, others predict that it will be similar to the iPhone XR. The upcoming iPhone SE is expected to be released alongside the fifth-generation iPad Air.

Remember that the iPhone SE (2020) was based on the design of the iPhone 8, which was released in 2017. Dylan states in his tweet that the new design iPhone SE has been put back to 2024. Apple will release a new iPhone SE in 2024 that will look similar to the iPhone XR and iPhone 11.

Most likely, the iPhone SE 2022/iPhone SE 3/iPhone SE 5G will be a minor update to the iPhone SE 2020. Customers who appreciate the compact proportions of the current iPhone SE and older iPhone 6 models will likely have another opportunity to acquire a new iPhone with a comparable size.

Apple is planning a new iPhone SE for 2023, with significant improvements to key features such as display size and RAM capacity. Apple's 2024 iPhone SE upgrade, according to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, is being planned for an early 2023 release. Apple will also expand the RAM capacity from 3GB to 4GB on the current model.

Kuo revealed that the upcoming iPhone SE 2022 will be the ‘cheapest 5G iPhone ever’. iPhone SE 2020 successor will be released in 2022. Apple would remove the notch in the iPhone SE 2020 successor and come up with a punch-hole display design instead.

Apple will be taking orders Thursday for the new iPhone SE and iPad Pro, with deliveries set for March 31.
