In the IPL 2022 final, Hardik Pandya claimed the best figures of his IPL career so far, taking 3/17 in four overs to help restrict Rajasthan Royals to 130/9 in 20 overs. 

On Monday (May 30), Natasa Stankovic shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram Stories reacting to Hardik Pandya’s win, and even wrote a sweet message in support of her husband.

In a low-scoring IPL 2022 final, Hardik Pandya starred with both the bat and ball (3/17 and 30-ball 34) to lead GT to a seven-wicket win over former champions Rajasthan Royals.

Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler ended up as the second-highest run-getter in a single edition of the IPL behind former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli.

Jos Buttler got the Orange Cap for finishing the season with 863 runs and also won the Most Sixes, Most Fours, Powerplayer of the season, Gamechanger of the season and Most Valuable Player award.

Hardik Pandya has won four IPL titles with Mumbai Indians. Gujarat’s highly-rated bowling attack, led by skipper Hardik (3/17) himself, limited a formidable Rajasthan Royals batting unit to 130 for nine after losing the toss.

Not many gave Gujarat a chance in their first season especially after a mixed auction where they waited till the end to secure the services of wicketkeepers Wriddhiman Saha and Matthew Wade.

Rajasthan will look to go with the same playing XI unless there are any injuries in the squad. 

The Royals leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who has 26 wickets from 16 matches to be joint-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2022, claims that he would have scored 1600 runs if he was allowed to open the batting in place of Jos Buttler. 

Hardik Pandya has led from the front with the bat, he is the highest run-getter for the Titans with 453 runs from 14 matches at an average of 45.3 with four fifties. 

The closing ceremony will start at 6:25 PM IST. Dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are also expected to be present for the final at Ahmedabad.
