The ICC prize money for the winner gets around Rs 13 crore in cash prizes, which is 7 crores less than what winning team gets in Indian Premier League.

With IPL being the richest T20 league played in the world, a lot of handsome awards are set to be given after the IPL 2022 final including the Orange Cap, Purple Cap, Emerging Player, and fair play among many others. Moreover, the winning and runners up teams will get whopping cash prizes.

In a circular sent to all eight IPL franchises - Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad - the BCCI has notified that instead of a whopping Rs 20 crore, the IPL champion team will now receive Rs 10 crore.
