The Lok Sabha is likely to discuss on Wednesday the raging controversy over the affidavits filed in the Ishrat Jahan encounter killing case when it takes up a calling-attention notice on the issue.
“The file (Ishrat Jahan's case file) never came to me, the allegations are baseless, ANI quoted Shinde as saying.
The former national security adviser said it is obvious the government affidavits in the Ishrat Jahan case were changed but he does not know the reasons for it.
The matter, which was mentioned for urgent hearing before a bench, will now be heard on March 11, sources said.
