Striker Diego Mauricio has signed a one-year contract with Odisha FC ahead of the upcoming 2020-21 season of the Indian Super League (ISL). Mauricio will arrive at Odisha FC with an experience of playing for many top football leagues around the globe. The striker began his senior football career in 2010 with Brazilian club Flamengo, where he played alongside football legend Ronaldinho.

Two-time ISL winners Chennaiyin FC on Sunday announced the signing of Csaba Laszlo as their new head coach for the upcoming ISL 7. The 56-year-old coach has over two decades of managerial experience -managing teams in Hungarian ,Romanian and Scottish top flight. ISL 2020-21 will be played solely in Goa owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and will begin from October 20.

Bengaluru FC have signed left-back Ajith Kumar from Chennai City FC on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The defender had last faced Bengaluru FC during Chennai City's 2-1 win in the Super Cup quarterfinal clash earlier in 2019. The 2020-21 ISL will begin in November and take place behind closed doors in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
