The prices of D-MAX pick-ups and mu-X SUV will be increased with effect from January 1, 2019.

Japanese automobile maker Isuzu today announced top level changes in its Indian operations with Hiroshi Nakagawa taking over over as the Chairman of Isuzu Motors India (IMI) with immediate effect.

The company had launched MU-7 manual transmission variant in December 2013.

"Such customers will now have the flexibility to construct their own load-bodies suiting their business requirements," it added.

Isuzu Motors India is looking at scaling up its production to 1,20,000 units per annum in the country with an investment of Rs 3,000 crore by 2016.

Isuzu vice-president Masanori Khatayama discussed the matter in a meeting today with visiting state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a tour to Japan.
