IT major Infosys on Friday posted a 13.4 percent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,436 crore for the first quarter ended June 2016 and slashed full-year revenue guidance to 10.5-12 percent in constant currency terms.

Software services major Infosys today reported a 3.9 percent Q on Q growth in consolidated net profit at Rs 3,597 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

IT major Wipro on Wednesday announced allotment of 18,819 shares, worth about Rs one crore at the current market price, to eligible employees.

The award was presented to Wipro at the 24th World Congress on Total Quality & Leadership, which was held in Kerala.
