Ranchi's CBI court has convicted RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav in the fodder scam case. This case is related to the withdrawal of Rs 139 crore from Doranda Treasury, in which Lalu Yadav has been convicted.

Today ie Tuesday is very important for RJD supremo Lalu Prasad regarding a matter related to fodder scam. Today, in this case, the biggest case i.e. illegal withdrawal from Doranda Treasury, the special court of CBI will give its verdict.

Jagannath Mishra was cremated with full state honours but during the gun salute to the three-time CM, the rifles of Bihar Police personnel failed to fire. 

Mishra had been suffering from cancer and other medical ailments for which he had been receiving treatment at a Delhi hospital.

He has already been convicted in two earlier cases, for which he has received jail sentences.

HD Deve Gowda has framed then Bihar CM Lalu Prasad in the fodder scam, alleged Jagannath Mishra.

Special CBI judge Shivapal Singh acquitted former chief minister Jagannath Mishra as well as six others in the case.

"I have full faith in judiciary. I will appear in court whenever asked," Lalu Prasad told reporters.

The Supreme Court today pulled up former Bihar Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra for allegedly dragging and delaying the appeal filed by CBI challenging the quashing of four pending fodder scam cases against him.
