In Mumbai, Slogans held in support of sedition accused Sharjeel Imam at Azad Maidan. A case has been registered against the activist, Sharjeel Imam for allegedly making inflammatory speeches against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) at Shaheen Bagh.

The mobile phone and laptop of sedition accused Sharjeel Imam along with some anti-CAA posters were seized from his rented flat in Vasant Kunj and his house in Jahanabad, Bihar.
