Abdullah expressed solidarity with the Shia community, emphasising the sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) and the values of peace, brotherhood, and gratitude taught by Islam.
“We tried to persuade the ruling party to bring about a change in its approach with regards to Kashmir, but they didn't listen to us. Now they are struggling with their failures,” said Dr Farooq Abdullha.
"I will not be at peace until you win the hearts of the people in Jammu and Kashmir. There cannot be peace in Jammu and Kashmir till you`ll win hearts of the people..," said Farooq Abdullah.
Farooq Abdullah said, “We challenge the BJP to counter our white paper with its own white paper. We challenge the BJP government on its claims of providing jobs, investment and development."
