The markets of Delhi are likely to remain shut as a part of 'Delhi Bandh' on Friday to protest against the bloodshed terror attack in Kashmir's Pahalgam. 

CM Abdullah said that the security apparatus must do everything possible to end this spurt of attacks.

Amit Shah is set to chair a review meeting, eyeing the deteriorating law and order situation in J&K and examining the preparedness for the Amarnath Yatra.  

Exposing the conspiracy of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, intelligence agencies have issued an alert and told that there are leaders, outsiders and ex-servicemen are in the hit-list of terrorists. Agencies have told that there is anger among the terrorists due to the major operation of the army in Jammu and Kashmir.

TRF, an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terror outfit, claimed responsibility for the attack on CRPF personnel. 

There were talks that the BCCI and the government should reconsider playing Pakistan in the ICC men's T20 World Cup as in the past few days, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a spate of targeted killings of civilians especially non-locals. Shukla said while strict action should be taken against terror organisations, the match against Pakistan has to be played as it is an ICC tournament.

Union Minister Giriraj Singh recently said that the match between India and Pakistan in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 should not be played under the current circumstances. Also, the Cabinet Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department added that the issue should be discussed again.
