Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday released a commemorative coin in honour of Jamsetji Tata, popularly known as father of modern Indian industry, on his 175th birth anniversary here.
With the honour, Jamsetji becomes the first industrialist to be honoured by the government in such a manner.
On his 175th birth anniversary, Tata Group founder Jamsetji Nussserwanji Tata will be honoured Tuesday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will be releasing commemorative coins on him.
