Veteran actor Dharmendra, who will be seen in his forthcoming release 'Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se' has said that being a Jat, he and his family will never step back from making films until they don't become successful in it.

In a development that will give a relief to Haryana's ruling BJP, the Jats have decided not to hold their rally in Jind on February 15, when BJP chief Amit Shah will attend a bike rally in the town, after marathon talks between the community leaders and the state government.

The Haryana government on Friday suspended mobile internet services in 13 districts of the state till the midnight of November 26. This decision has been taken by the state government in view of maintaining law and order ahead of the two public rallies.

Police and paramilitary forces have been deployed to guard the Western Yamuna Canal in Sonipat district.

Heavy police presence was seen in the area as several barricades were placed to contain the protestors.

The Parkash Singh Committee, probing the role of police and civil administration officials during the Jat reservation stir, Friday submitted its report to Haryana government, pointing towards "negligence" on part of certain officials in controlling the situation.

The Jat Reservation Bill was approved by the Haryana Cabinet on Monday.

 Akhil Bhartiya Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti (ABJASS), the body that spearheaded the Jat quota stir in February, today threatened to resume the agitation if its demands are not met by the end of this month.

 Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony and asked Centre to offer "adequate" compensation to people affected by violence during the Jat reservation stir.

 Jhajjar Deputy Commissioner Anita Yadav on Monday said the law and order situation in the district is under control but added that curfew would continue for a few more days as a precautionary measure.
