The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced was conducted on Sunday (September 27). 

JEE Paper 2 result 2020 was announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on September 18 at their official website. Candidates can access the result of JEE Main 2020 by visiting the official portal- jeemain.nta.nic.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted JEE Main entrance tests in two slots, between 9 am and 12 noon, and 3 pm and 6 pm from September 1-6.

Once released, candidates who took the examination, held from September 1-6, 2020, can check and download their result from the website.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Wednesday took to Twitter to say that the process for JEE Mains 2020 result declaration has already started and it will be announced soon. Soon after the declaration of results, the students will be able to check their results online at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Over 8 lakh students have appeared for the JEE Main 2020.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2020 exam answer key on its official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in on on Tuesday (September 8). Once released, candidates who took the exam can check and download it from the website.

The number of centres has also been increased from 570 to 660 in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The shifts of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 has been increased from 8 to 12 which will be conducted as per the schedule released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The first shift will be between 9 am to 12 noon and the second will be from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Candidates qualifying the JEE Main 2020 will now not require the mandatory 75 per cent marks in Class 12 for admission to the NITs and other CFTIs. The move comes amidst the coronavirus COVID-19 crisis. Union HRD Minister declared that the qualifying candidates will only need to obtain a passing certificate in Class 12 examination irrespective of the marks obtained.

Union Human Resources Development Ministry is likely to issue an update on pending Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exam scheduled to take place in July on Monday (June 22).
